Makes a sweet keepsake families will treasure
Just print, cut, and you're ready to celebrate—no extra prep required!
Coordinates perfectly with our St. Patrick’s Day emergent reader, bookmarks, and the full Tiny Readers Club collection for a festive, connected classroom experience
Classroom & Gift Ideas:
Begin with a read-aloud like our “Rainbow!” emergent reader, then brainstorm as a class: Why are we lucky? Chart your ideas together!
Invite students—individually or in small groups—to share why they feel lucky. Dictate their responses or support them in writing their own.
Compile all the finished cards into a class book titled “We’re So Lucky!” to read together. Then send the cards home as a special keepsake.
Let students decorate the front of the card! There are so many fun options!
- Green tissue paper collage (this is what I do in my classroom)
- Watercolor
- Glitter
- Collect green leaves at recess and then glue onto the clover
- And, of course, could also paint their hand green and stamp on the
card for an extra personal touch!
